Anyways, the alarm control panel was dark without power or anything today. Me and Amy just got back from delivering some meds and 2 pairs of jeans from true religion to her uncle, from which we got into the accident from this guy who rear ended someone who rear ended us. State troopers came by (I-95) but got the initial location wrong (allegheny instead of wherever we were, which we did give the exit number). Nice young Cambodian kid was the trooper.
Anyways, alarm control panel Wa dark so I traced the wires and followed them to the basement where they were in the central heating/cooling room. The power cable to the power strip was about 5 feet from where the wall plug was. I looked and wondered how it got there. Plugged it in and the sump pump ran for maybe a minute or less getting rid of water (it rained hard today). After plugging it back in, I looked back at the control panel but it had no lights so I looked at the cellular backup unit and it was back to life with flashing lights.
I tinkered a little down there and in a little bit, the alarm went off and I ran upstairs to turn it off.
I told Amy the situation and asked if she Andy downstairs and she said no, obviously. I said that it was strange since the location for the plug and the socket was way off, that some unplugged it and moved it, and she gave me a blank look. Her response? Don't worry about it, forget it.
I was obviously pointing out that maybe her brother had went downstairs and unplugged it. Instead of saying something like , oh, I'll ask him, she said to forget about it.
I went back to the garage to mess with trying to find out about the horn I van put onto the alarm system and went to grab the horn to see what specs were on it, in which there were none.
I can't believe that she hollers and screams about the smalles shit that I do and she basically gives her brother nothing but shrugs for some major crap.
This really pisses me off.
